The houses have been painted white, then painted in a pastel colour which is then sanded to expose the white and make the little wood houses look shabby. The wooden houses are painted yellow, green and pink. Each of the wood houses has 1 painted window, a door made from tree bark and a black tack chimney. 4 brass hooks are added to the key holder for hanging keys or small light items such as lanyards.
