The wood houses are situated on pallet wood which is very rustic and textured, giving these bookends unusual character. The houses are chunky. These book ends make a great gift for a retirement or Father's Day. Houses can be painted in a colour of your choice, to match your decor. The Oak houses can also be left as natural wood if you prefer.

The houses are different heights.
The houses are painted on the front only, allowing the beautiful grains of the Oak to show on the sides and roof of the houses.
Houses can be left natural wood if you prefer.
The wooden houses are set on some very textured and rustic pallet wood, which has been lightly sanded.
The back of the houses are also left natural wood, so the book ends can be displayed 2 ways.
